As we celebrate the holiday season, I hope you will join me in pausing to remember those who are sacrificing their time home with their loved ones to protect our freedoms half a world away. Christmas is also a time for each of us to humbly recount the blessings bestowed upon us over the last year and to reach out with a helping hand to those less fortunate than ourselves.

It has been my good fortune over the last year to make many new friends as I have traveled throughout Illinois. I am grateful for your support and your friendship.
