Dipping into Governor Rod Blagojevich's Personal PAC-induced controversy of requiring pharmacists to issue the drug, even if it is against the pharmacist’s religious beliefs, Personal PAC asks,
And, finally, would you vote to mandate insurance companies to cover RU-486, just as they do other prescriptions?
The final section, entitled, “Pro-Choice Leadership,” is on Page 4. (Remember, to be able to read the original, you will have to click twice on the page's image to make it large enough to see.) Here is where you, the “candidate herself/himself,” must sign below your answers.

These attacks, of course, are always made on the most vulnerable—young, poor, rural, and now, women whose health would be jeopardized by carrying a pregnancy to term.”That’s aimed primarily at House Speaker Mike Madigan, who has usually allowed pro-lifers a vote on at least one bill a session. “Will you actively lobby your Legislative Leader to appoint more pro-choice legislators to leadership?”Specifically, what steps will you take and what direct leadership will you provide to stop anti-abortion bills from becoming law?” (It’s an essay question: “WRITE BELOW OR ATTACH SHEET.” [emphasis in the original here and below])
And, finally,
“If elected do you plan to cast your votes CONSISTENT with your answers to the above questions?”To return to McHenry County Blog, click here.
