Brady Announces Radio Buy, Gidwitz Back on TV

Brady’s radio spot, according to the campaign,
Features both Sen. Bill Brady and his wife, Nancy. It emphasizes Brady’s mainstream conservative values and his belief that state government must resist higher taxes and end corruption to protect the dreams of all Illinoisians

“Illinois needs a governor who works for the people, not for politicians and their friends.’

Meanwhile, the man with the larger fortune is going back on TV.
The Gidwitz campaign reports,
The 30-second spot, titled, ‘Lifetime,’ highlights Gidwitz's accomplishments in the areas of education, job creation and fighting taxes, setting the table for a debate about which candidate has the experience and leadership that is crucial for running the State of Illinois.

As befits a campaign with lagging poll numbers, the Gidwitz press release says,
“This race is not about personality or preliminary poll numbers," Gidwitz said.

"Illinois is facing serious problems that call for serious leadership. I'm here to make the case that I bring unmatched leadership and experience in the areas of education, job creation and fiscal responsibility.”

Gidwitz includes a copy of his TV ad copy, which appears below:
The ad script:
RON GIDWITZ, A LIFETIME OF LEADERSHIP.

STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION CHAIRMAN. RON WON NATIONAL PRAISE FOR INCREASING ACCOUNTABILITY AND IMPROVING OUR SCHOOLS.

TAX FIGHTER. RON LED A GRASSROOTS EFFORT TO DEFEAT GOVERNOR BLAGOJEVICH'S TAX INCREASES AND WON.

JOB CREATOR. RON BUILT HIS FAMILY BUSINESS INTO A FORTUNE 500 COMPANY... EMPLOYING OVER A THOUSAND ILLINOIS FAMILIES.

EDUCATION REFORMER. TAX FIGHTER. JOB CREATOR.

RON GIDWITZ, EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP WE CAN TRUST, FOR A CHANGE

One wonders why the campaign uses the hard-to-read all capital letter format.
