Gidwitz Mailing Hits on Job Creation…for “Middle-Class” (Click to Enlarge)

On the flip side of the glossy post card, Gidwitz headlines, “A history of creating jobs,” all in capital letters.

He states that he “grew his family business – Helene Curtis – into a Fortune 500 company – employing 1,500 workers.”

Then, he talks about business groups he “formed” to “defeat Rod Blagojevich’s tax increases.”

Here’s his job plan:
-Tax credits for new jobs…encouraging employers to invest and create jobs…
-Tax cuts to spur job growth…Ron will roll back Blagojevich’s tax hikes in order to spur more job growth.
-…alternative energy capital…become a leader in biofuel production…
On the right, above the address, is a statement from Don Haider, former Chicago budget director and now a Northwestern professor of management saying Gidwitz “…understands that the role of government is to create a positive business climate for investment to occur.”

The themes of “Education Reformer” and “Tax Fighter” are repeated from former messages.
