Irony in McHenry Grade School Political Action Committee Name
$3,351 was spent on printing and postage from the third week of November through mid-December.
The PAC started the reporting period (July 1st) with a little under $2,000 and has just under $2,000 to start the final months of the campaign.
Approximately that amount--$2,000—was pumped into the committee by the teachers association at the end of April.
It’s probably just seed money, because the PAC has shown the ability to raise serious money on short notice—enough to put on a $28,800 campaign and have $4,300 left over. To read who contributed to the spring 2004 referendum campaign, click here.
Twenty-nine businesses, teachers organizations and individuals ponied up enough to be listed in the $30,700 raised by the committee.

There were $2,350 in contributions of under $150.01, which do not have to be reported to the Illinois State Board of Elections.
The committee is chaired by Bonnie Simon, who took over from Geraldine A Condon a little over a year ago. Its Treasurer is Robert Mortell.
