for U.S. Congress


Dear 8th Congressional District Voter,


I am the only candidate for U.S. Congress who has an established record as an advocate for the taxpayer. I have served in various leadership roles fighting for the taxpayer, such as Chairman of the Warren Twp. Republican Organization, Vice Chairman of the Lake Co. Republican Party, and a founder of the taxpayer watchdog group known as “Citizens for Responsible Government.” Last year, as a member of the Woodland School Board's Extended Finance Committee, I helped find $3 million in savings that didn’t hurt the education of our Gurnee children (including my own). That’s the type of creative leadership I want to bring to our twin national crises in Healthcare and Retirement Income Plans. And as a certified expert and manager / consultant in these areas for the past quarter century, you know I have got the background and experience sorely needed in Washington to solve these problems. That’s why I am running for this 8th District U.S. Congress seat.

As one of the first Republican leaders to call public attention to the scandals and corruption of the George Ryan Administration, you know that ARNOLD stands for strong leadership -- and for you. That’s different from my primary opponents and Democrat Melissa Bean who merely state a problem (e.g. we need to reform our healthcare systems) but offer few real solutions. After reviewing my issues on the reverse of this flier, I know you will wish to have a Congressman who will look out for YOUR interests and offer creative solutions to “the problems of our day”. But to do this, I NEED YOUR HELP!


CONTRIBUTIONS: I am running against several multi-millionaires--- your contributions are critical at this early stage. I will match your support -- dollar for dollar -- up to $100,000 (the maximum my family can afford). Right now the maximum limit is $2,100 / person, but no doubt some of my opponents will personally contribute at a level that will increase the allowed legal contribution limit to $6,300 per individual.
