Melissa Bean's Abortion "Innoculation" Piece - At Taxpayer Expense, Of Course
Now why would I headline this an "Abortion 'Innoculation' Piece?"The reason is that every skillful candidate who is pro-abortion tries to use adoption as a shield. If she wants to encourge adoption, how could she be in favor of abortion?
Jim Edgar did it, for example. The women of the Illinois House did it with their "safe sanctuary" bill. (That's the law that says a mother will not be prosecuted if she leaves her newborn at a hospital or fire station.)
Bean's pitch is especially appealing because she is herself adopted. And, she doens't even have to use her campaign funds to get the point across.
I have known other elected officials who label themselves "pro-choice" who have been adopted. What I have never understood is how they cannot understand that, but for the grace of God, they would have ended up with the other medical waste, instead of alive.
