The General Assembly agreed to restructure required payments to state employee pension systems last spring as part of a plan to balance the FY06 budget. If elected, what is your plan for the state to meet its obligations to the state pension funds? Do you favor cutting benefits to future hires, or do you favor leaving benefits as they are and raising revenues to pay for them? Explain your answer.This should be an easy one for those have already answered the Service Employees International Union and the AFSCME questionnaires.
